More About Hyundai
Hyundai Motor Company was established in 1967 in South Korea. Hyundai is now one of the top 100 most valuable brands worldwide according to Interbrand. Since 1993, the assembly of Hyundai Accent, Sonata, and Elantra models was undertaken by the Motor Company of Botswana in Gaborone in the form of complete knock-down kits. Most of the finished vehicles were exported to South Africa.
After a shaky launch into the SA market in the 1990s, Hyundai has won the hearts and minds of South African drivers. Whether it is the range of vehicles to suit every taste and need or the competitive pricing and brilliant after sales products, Hyundai is here to stay.
