Hatchback

A hatchback is a car body type with a rear door which opens upward providing access to the boot. Hatchbacks often feature back seats that can fold down to reconfigure the interior space. volume. Hatchbacks have been marketed globally on cars ranging in size from so-called super-mini to small family vehicles. Some hatchbacks are even considered executive cars and sports cars.

In spite of the SUV boom, the hatchback is still the most sold body type in the used car market – and the most searched for too. Hatchbacks are budget-wise as this is the body type with the lowest price point and fuel economy. In this body type, the Suzuki Swift, VW Polo and Kia Picanto are selling like hotcakes.
