Audi spruced up their A6, Q7 and A7 line-up for the 2014 Model Year. The biggest talking point is the availability of a rear mobile entertainment system. Let’s not forget, these cars are well-suited to chauffeur-driven types. It’s an add-on that should be welcomed.
For R15 150 the system comprises a screen, with DVD, USB, SD Card and Bluetooth compatibility. It also allows for integration with an Apple iPad (you do pay R1690 more for this though) and it provides internet access via Audi Bluetooth Online services or through the in-car Wi-Fi. It’s detachable as well, hence the “mobile” in the title.
The A6 has now been made standard with the S-line exterior package, boasting bigger wheels, meaner bumpers and a rear diffuser. The package usually tallies to R40 000 on some models. Pricing for the 2014 A6 ranges between R538 500 and R763 500.
It’s the same story with the Q7. Buyers may also opt for larger 20-inch wheels as part of the S-line package, at no cost. Pricing ranges between R777 500 and R959 500. Pricing for the A7 starts at R726 000.
