BMW has released the M3 Sedan and new BMW M4 Coupe. They have both been given extensive upgrades and lost some weight – making them faster, more powerful and as luxurious as ever.
Both models sport a six-cylinder engine with new M TwinPower Turbo technology. It produces a power output of 317 kW and 550Nm of torque. Both of the M series’ will be able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.
The cars have lost 80 kilograms due to an application of intelligent lightweight design measures. Carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) and aluminium have been put in place of the heavier materials.
