The top-of-the-range Ford Figo 1.5 Titanium is designed to offer quality and comfort for every trip. I took it for a test drive and here is my verdict.

Exterior, interior & infotainment

With its stylish, aerodynamic exterior, I found the new Figo 1.5 Titanium to be a capable car, offering a surprisingly smooth and luxurious drive.

The new Figo 1.5 Titanium has a 6.5-inch colour touchscreen and Ford Sync 3, including Bluetooth, hands-free phone, voice control, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls so that you don’t have to take your eyes off the road.

There are two USB ports and iPod functionality, so that you can listen to your favourite music. It also offers additional space when you fold down the rear seats, giving you more than enough boot space when you need it most.

Power, performance & safety

With 88kW of power and 150Nm of torque the new Ford Figo 1.5 Titanium ensures a controlled driving experience and comes standard with driver and passenger airbags, and side and curtain airbags to ensure your safety. The new Figo 1.5 Titanium also has Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), as well as other safety features.

The perimeter anti-theft alarm will provide you with peace of mind while your car is parked. It will raise alarm bells if there is an unauthorised attempt to enter the car – the system will trigger the alarm by flashing headlamps and parking lamps and will activate the theft indicator on the instrument panel.

In conclusion, the new Ford Figo 1.5 Titanium is perfect for couples starting out, or for smaller families, who need that extra bit of oomph and luxury in this affordable safe car.
