The Range Rover and Range Rover Sport are receiving some impressive upgrades. The 4.4-litre SDV8 diesel has received a 40Nm torque increase, translating to an impressive 740Nm while delivering 250kW of power. Even with the boost, it will boast a low fuel consumption figure of 8.7l/100km.

New 19-inch alloy wheels will allow for some off-road activities for the standard Range Rover. And for the first time, new 22-inch rims are available too. The Range Rover Autobiography will come with a few additional options, enabling buyers to personalize their SUV. These options include special finishes and bespoke leather detailing. It will have some new features too, including black-chrome exterior accents, LED tail lights and adjustable mood lighting.

In-car technology has been added, standard across the range. Land Rover InControl and InControl secure will assist drivers; from finding their car if it has been stolen, to connecting with it via smart phone – being able to control the car remotely.  InControl Wi-Fi also provides a mobile hotspot to connect all Android and iDevices.

According to Jaguar Land Rover South Africa, the 2015 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport can be expected in South Africa in the second quarter of 2015.
