The Lexus CT 200h has been upgraded. A quieter drive is the result of improvements such as fender separators which prevent noise from entering the cabin, a sealer coating that reduces engine and road noise and a new-design hybrid inlet duct that boosts intake efficiency.
The new CT 200h exterior package comprises of a new Spindle Grille, redesigned front and rear bumper with mock diffuser, a new shark fin antenna, aero stabilising fins which have been added onto the rear combination lamps and door frames as well as the engine and rear floor under covers.
The interior has been enhanced with a newly designed steering wheel, redesigned shift lever with a leather-upholstered boot, metallic-plated ornamentation for the audio switches, improved window switch illumination, rear seatbelt indicator, new-design Hybrid ECO indicator and a new Topaz (toffee brown) leather upholstery option.
Nothing changes under the skin. The 1.8-litre four cylinder petrol engine still boasts 73kW and 142Nm and goes from 0-100km/h in 10,3 seconds. Top speed is 180km/h. The high output electric motor exerts 100kW. The CT 200h goes for R388 800 and is covered by a four-year/100 000 km warranty and service plan.
