From October 2014, Mercedes-Benz will be introducing the new C-Class. The newest addition to the luxury cars will come with an option of two faces. The AVANTGARDE front will wear a sporty grille .The EXCLUSIVE Line will have a classic grille, proudly sporting the Mercedes-Benz star.


Adopted from the sedan is the high-value interior. There will of course be the standard base model, but the new C-Class will also offer three design and equipment lines each for the exterior and interior. Safety equipment in the new C-Class includes a standard Collision Prevention Assist System and Attention Assist. It will also be Bluetoothcompatible and iDevices may be connected via the standard and integral Media Interface.


The petrol and diesel engines will both have ECO start/stop function.  The C 180 Estate will have a 4-cylinder engine with a power output of 115 kW and 250 Nm of torque. The C 200 Estate will have 135 kW of power and 300 Nm of torque.  The economical C 250 BlueTEC diesel model has 150 kW of power and 500 Nm of torque.


The new C-Class Estate starts at R447 600 for the C 180, R468 300 f0r the C200 and R558 400 for the C 250 BlueTEC – all coming standard with the PremiumDrive 6-years/100 000 km maintenance plan.
