The new Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG Coupé has arrived on the scene. It comes with a lighter body with the outer skin and front being made of aluminium. The reduced weight lowers the fuel consumption. It also improves driving dynamics and enables the S 63 AMG Coupé to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. It can reach a top speed of 250 km/h.
The AMG introduces a 5.5-litre V8 bi-turbo engine, boasting an output of 430 kW and 900 Nm of torque. And it has a surprisingly low fuel consumption figure of 10.1 litres per 100 kilometres. The AMG speedshift MCT 7-speed sports transmission blends perfectly with the V8 engine. There are three modes to choose from; Controlled Efficiency, Sport and Manual. The ECO start/stop function is fitted as standard.
The interior of the AMG Coupé is classy and modern, yet still sporty. It has been incorporated with high-quality materials and AMG sports electrical seats with heating. The new standard touchpad operates the radio, telephone and navigation system. The safety and assistance systems are the same as those for the S-Class.
One of the models in the range is the S 63 AMG Coupé “Edition 1”. It comes with Swarovski crystals in the LED high-performance headlamps. The inside sports nappa leather in crystal grey/black or bengal red/black with contrasting top stitching and piping. There are nappa leather elements incorporated all over the car’s interior. Night View Assist Plus is fitted as standard.
