Ford are launching their crossover B-segment intermediary called the Figo Freestyle this Wednesday – June 10th.

Among the Ford stable the Freestyle is by far a better equipped all-rounder: an inner-city runabout, suburban people carrier – and a soft off-road compact tourer. The Figo Freestyle will certainly help to resolve the problem of a growing family: where a sub-B segment vehicle like the Figo is too small yet the EcoSport is too expensive. However, there is no entry-level Ambiente model – only the mid-spec Trend and the top of the range Titanium – both with sporty and outdoors chiseled features. Looking at the Trend model specifications, four airbags, ABS/EBD, 175/65/R15, rear-parking senses, and roll-over mitigation control are all standard. Boasting a ride-height of 190mm – one could imagine the Freestyle is great fun to drive on dirt roads.
