Today we embark on an adventure to the Toyota Etios Cross Launch. The new Etios combines the appearance of an SUV with the agile, cost effective characteristics of a hatchback.
The Etios has been quite a success, having sold 45000 units in less than two years, regularly appearing on the top three bestsellers list. The Etios engine has always been a major selling factor, being a 16-valve DOHC 1.5-litre, with a power output of 66kW and 132Nm of torque. These figures will be no different in the new Cross, which will also boast a fuel consumption figure of 6.0l/100km.
The Etios Cross will also come standard with a number of safety features including ABS, EBD, dual front airbags and an immobilizer.
Since we will be attending the launch later, we thought we’d give you a peak at the Etios Cross and reveal the full details once we have experienced the newcomer ourselves. Prices and other details will be mentioned in the launch review.
