In pursuit of greater hybrid adoption and more expansive market appeal, Toyota has introduced a hybridised RAV4 in the GX guise.

The new Toyota RAV4 hybrid follows the same route as the Corolla Cross hybrid and Corolla XS hybrid variants as the Japanese manufacturer pushes to get to zero emissions by the year 2050.

With the plan, Toyota has been rolling out hybrid variants on most of its mainstream model ranges that combine the virtues of conventional namesakes with the added performance and fuel efficiency of the brand’s hybrid system.
