A friendly-looking exterior with curvaceous, round edges and chrome detailing – it’s no wonder the Opel Crossland X is a semi-finalist in the Wesbank Consumer Car of the Year Award 2018.
In addition to chiseled good looks, this compact SUV delivers 81kW and 205Nm with an average fuel consumption of 5.4 litres/100km. I recently took the Crossland X 1.2T Cosmo AT for a test drive, accompanied by Williams Hunt Roodepoort, Opel Sales Manager, Tian Venter.
Power, performance & safety
Some of the safety features of the Crossland X 1.2T Cosmo AT include driver and passenger airbags, as well as side and curtain airbags. There is also Hill-Start Assist and an Electronic Stability Programme (ESP). Security features in the Crossland X include an anti-theft alarm and immobiliser.
Interior, comfort & features
I found the interior of the Crossland X to be comfortable and relatively spacious, with high-quality materials and finishes. For your comfort and convenience some of the features include electronic climate control, cruise control and park assistance. The driver assistance package includes a driver drowsiness system, forward collision alert, collision imminent braking and pedestrian detection.
And there’s more…
The Infotainment includes a Navi 5 Intellilink System plus head-up display that comes as an optional extra, which includes Bluetooth, USB, MP3 and AUX input.
Contact Williams Hunt Roodepoort for more information about the Crossland X or to book a test drive.
