Mercedes Benz CLC For Sale
The Mercedes Benz CLC for sale is a close relative of the Sport Coupé. First launched in 2008 at the Berlin Fashion Week, the CLC brought several facelifts that were at the time design statements for the German manufacturer.
Also known as the CL203, the vehicle is based on the same W203 platform as its C-Class siblings. The difference to the rest of the offering in the C-Class stable is the updated front design and the cheeky new tail inspired by the W204 series. High boot with a stylish boot spoiler, angular lights, and a strip-break light with a smooth curving back-window makes for a handsome profile and one that is quite familiar on our roads. Even with a coupé form, the boot offers 301litres of loading capacity. It is a comfortable drive for back seat passengers, although the sloping roofline does eat away head-room for taller passengers.
Mercedes Benz launched this vehicle boasting more than a thousand new or refined components that have been updated. Some of these include the suspension system. This is fundamentally borrowed from the SLK-Class making it a sportier, harder suspension and an updated navigation system in some trim levels. A bit of a magpie Merc, it has bits and ideas fused into one model borrowed from many relatives; the doors, roof, and side panels reminiscent of the Sport Coupé, as is the interior with a steering wheel that reminds of the W219 C Class model.
At the time of its launch, the Mercedes Benz CLC for sale was viewed by many critics as the new ‘entry-level’ Mercedes. Offering just enough refinements to hook customers to the brand but still affordable enough in its price class.
Interior is on par with its C-Class relatives, subdued elegance, space, and comfort just as you would expect from the Three-Pointed Star. Depending on how previous owners treated this second hand Mercedes Benz CLC for sale, it is still unmistakable Merc Class and quality.
The CLC was manufactured from 2008 – 2011 and both petrol and Diesel engines are available in manual and automatic gearboxes. Petrol was launched as 180/200 and 230 Kompressor models with a wide range of types from BlueEfficiency 1,6 16 Valve to the 3,5 24valve V6. Diesel was manufactured with 2,2 16valve turbo engines. Fuel consumption for the petrol second hand Mercedes Benz CLC for sale, combined use is around 7.7litre per 100km depending on the condition of the vehicle.
In 2011 Daimler Chrysler decided to discontinue the CLC production and instead added the C-Class Coupé to the 2012 line-up to compete directly with the BMW 3 Series.
