Nissan Livina For Sale

The Nissan Livina for sale is the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) offering by the Japanese vehicle manufacturer that was launched in 2006. The five-door vehicle is currently in its second generation and has proven its popularity on South African roads, especially because local manufacturing made maintenance and parts much more affordable than some of its counterparts. Available as a mini, compact and large (titled the Grand Livina), this Japanese MPV is changed only slightly since its entry on the market. Body styles available are the two-row hatchback and the three-row station wagon style.

The exterior design has evolved oh-so-slightly from the first generation. The general sharp nose, stumpy hatchback silhouette has stayed the same. Grille design, headlights, air vents, and roof slats have been upgraded to stay relevant on par with its contemporaries. The second-generation (2019), also known as the Mitsubishi Xpander, however, has raised the bar in Nissan design language with Transformer robot-like lines, bold grille with chrome finishes, a combination of sleek headlights at the top of the front and low-set lights in line with the fenders and grille. The window struts have a minimal design with smooth lines to the back window. The used Nissan Livina for sale is also veering more to the cross-over class instead of the traditional MPV. The second generation is only sold in Indonesia at the moment and South Africans will have to wait for the upgraded model that includes standard features like the infotainment system and satellite navigation.

The first generation used Nissan Livina for sale is still a very popular second-hand choice. The 80kW, 1.6litre engine provides enough power for a confident drive but remains economical at around 6.8litres per 100km. The Nissan Livina for sale was designed as an affordable MPV alternative. The first generation is standard fitted with air conditioning, power steering, electric windows, remote central locking, and ample storage space. Cabin space is generous, and the cargo space is massive. The last row of seats can fold down to provide even more loading options.

Steering is efficient for both city drive and on the long road. Cabin noise is minimal and all-round provides for a purpose-built vehicle. Perfect for school runs, but with enough space to pop in your mountain bike or a carload full of people – multi-purpose as it promised.
