More About The Suzuki Celerio

This compact hatchback with its 1.0L engine might just be the most economical car around. Boasting fuel economy of only 4.2litres per 100km, the automatic transmission option could be the least thirsty car money can buy.

The Suzuki Celerio for sale has a top speed of about 140km/h and goes from 0-100 in just 15.83 seconds. The Celerio is powered by a new 3 cylinder engine with a displacement of 998cc and is available in 5-speed AMT and MT transmission.

The Japanese marque has been producing the Celerio since 2008 - originally with the badge Suzuki Alto. The second generation was launched in 2014 and in 2021, the current version hit the market. This car is built on the lightweight HEARTECT platform which underpins the Suzuki Ignis too.

The new Celerio offers torque of 89Nm@3500rpm and power of 49kW@5500RPM. It is surprisingly spacious inside and has an increased wheelbase, extended shoulder room, as well as more legroom and luggage space. In terms of great features, the Suzuki Celerio has a 7- inch Smartplay Studio with smartphone navigation, engine push start-stop button with smart key, gear shift indicator, electrically adjustable and electrically-foldable ORVMs. Other incredible advances include first-in-segment Hill Hold Assist, Dual Airbags and ABS with EBD.

Another great city car from Suzuki.
