Toyota CH-R For Sale

In 2017, the South African market was taken by storm with the new “Bat-mobile” from Toyota. The Toyota CH-R for sale has since made headway in the subcompact crossover SUV class. The vehicle was in development for four years before being launched in 2016 and since release has only gone through one minor facelift.

The Toyota CH-R for sale is design-wise the complete opposite of what we have come to expect from traditional Toyota design. It is groundbreaking, head-turning, and statement-making. The external design has become familiar, but no less imposing. High body with an aggressive and bulky nose, and the very distinctive rear end; short and stumpy with high boot lid but intricate design features and lines that positions the CH-R in the middle of a comic hero's arsenal.

The Interior matches expectations. High-quality fabric or leather as optional extra plus all the refinements a modern-day traffic navigating hero needs. Infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, multi-information screen, Wi-Fi, and 15GB data package all standard inclusion. The interior is roomy and comfortable, although not necessarily a family car option. Fascia design is trendy yet minimalist but angling towards to driver. The best word to describe the interior is smooth. The driver position is very comfortable as is backspace. Although the back window design as well as the passenger windows design limits the driver's view. Apart from that, it is quite spacious with enough leg- and headroom. Cargo space is limited because of the spare tire fitting, it might fit an overnight bag or a laptop bag and rucksack at a squeeze. Space is a claimed 328litres. The used Toyota C-HR for sale is clearly not designed with a family in mind. If it is only one or two people driving, the back seat might be a better option for your luggage.

Driving is comfortable, if not as exciting as the design implies. Three different drive-modes are available at the click of a button – Normal, Eco, and Sport. The 1,2litre Turbocharged engine cranks out 85kW and 185Nm, matched with an eight-speed automatic transmission, it is an easy cruise on the long road. It does have a solid feel when cornering, despite the high body and seats are comfortable with extra padding.

Fuel consumption is good at an average of 7.8litres per 100km, depending on the mode you are driving in. The used Toyota C-HR for sale does not only look, it handles well. It is however not intended for the traditional family SUV market but more targeted at younger, trendsetting drivers.
